All lanes on US-2 closed after a fatal car accident leaves one man dead.
At the ripe age of 25, Chester Alan Goudreau
, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital on August 10th, 2021. According to the Tv6 News website, Chester failed to stop at a highly trafficked construction zone and struck another driver while not wearing his seatbelt.
It was also said that speeding, drug use, and distracted driving were all suspected factors in the car accident.
According to his obituary on www.fausettfh.com Chet enjoyed camping, water activities, hiking, having camped in the Smokey Mountains just last year with his close friends Jordan and Karissa. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephew and his closest friends. He was a free spirit, living life to the fullest, he was a travel enthusiast, making life-long friends along the way throughout the US, and Mexico, and loved to attend music festivals.
